Friends often ask me for recommendations about places to go to in London, and are often surprised by my suggestions: a Tudor apple orchard, a private Belgravia garden, a little known crazy museum….

The serene gardens of the Moravian Church on the King’s Road is such a place.

The Moravian Church originates from the Czech Republic. Moravians first came to the UK in the 1730s, and established their own farms, industries and schools.  It’s message is simple: unity.

This is its beautiful space, where all is welcomed to enjoy and to contemplate. You could feel the peace as soon as you walk in, and on certain days, the small tea shop is open, selling tea, cakes and good quality secondhand books. I absolutely love this place, one of London’s best-kept secrets ❤
