Today, we went to the small local market in our neighbourhood early and bought pumpkin, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, aubergines, onions, parsley and local basil. And he sits on our terrace overlooking the dazzling sea, chopping up our purchases and bagging them in freezer bags, chatting away happily to me as he did so.
No, this man cannot cook. He would happily eat Pad Thai on the beach everyday if he could. Chopping vegetables is not a natural activity for him, but I could sense the huge love and happiness emanating from him this morning. I am a great believer in the transference of energy and I KNOW that his love and happiness is transferred into the vegetables that he prepares on this beautiful Sunday morning. I will freeze these bags and use them in soups, casseroles and stocks: you can almost taste the love and happiness just by looking at them. Hmmm, maybe I’ll use one to make a delicious miso soup today …….
Thus, my tip is: prepare your food with love and taste the difference ❤
