You kind of have to love walking and being out in Nature to love the Hamble Rail Trail, because it’s not spectacular or anything. It’s just a walk that takes you through some very pleasant woods and sea along the old railway line, built during WW1 to transport aircraft from Manchester to Hamble.
If you are into identifying wildlife and foraging, there’s plenty for you to do and see here. Take a picnic, and spend a day just being out in the open x
