Ilfracombe is in North Devon, and has been settled since the Iron Age. Today, it is a typical English seaside town. We were passing by and we stopped here for an unexpectedly beautiful sunny day.  There was a cider festival going on in the town square by the harbour, there was a band playing and street food stalls along the seafront.  We bought fudge, played Crazy Golf, hung around the seafront all day and it was precious. It brought home to me once more that with my family – now my grown-up children – I am happy anywhere in the world, just basking in their happiness of being with each other. It was like those magical days of their childhood never leaves them and we are suddenly back in those days when they were tiny. The same happiness  ❤
