Parents often lament that their children are not ambitious when it comes to food – “My kids eat the same things only” or “My kids won’t try anything new.”

But will YOU?

Here’s an unusual recipe. I dare you to try it with an open mind …. it’s delicious!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 of a big ripe papaya, peel and deseeded (though I would add 1/2-1 tablespoon of the seeds in as they are anti-parasitic)
  • 1 mango, peeled and deseeded
  • 1/2 an apple, optional
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 whole limes, remove the seeds but leave the skin on
  • 1 big bunch of mint
  • 1 sprig spring onions

Throw all into a blender and blitz until smooth.  Garnish with parsley and lemon shavings. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.

You might go bleeeugh but look at the goodies that went in!
