The trendy cafe around the corner from my yoga studio sells superfoods bowls for £6 (for a small portion). I decided to do my own research and came up with my own. This is what it contains:

  1. Fresh organic greens for nutrients
  2. Avocado for energy
  3. Berries for antioxidants
  4. Amaranth and red quinoa for fibre, vitamins, especially iron and manganese. Quinoa contains all nine essential amino acids
  5. Chia seeds for omega-3 fatty acids

I just drizzled olive oil and lemon juice over the nutrient-packed bowl … it tastes wonderful.
